26-11-2009 PRESENTING: GOTHAM STREET LIGHTING SYSTEM

The lighting systems form part of a pilot project and will illuminate the area directly in front of the Bella Center, where the UN Climate Conference is taking place.

The luminaire which has been developed in close collaboration between Scotia, 3XN and ewo, is based on ewo-LED technology: the LED system sets new standards by offering a product boasting consistent performance and efficiency and which fulfils norm EN13201 to the highest classification of M1.

The luminaires will be installed on top of a mast system developed by Scotia on which photovoltaic panels have been mounted. The internationally active lighting designer Steven Scott, founder of Scotia, has realised many projects throughout Scandinavia and works in close partnership with 3XN who are responsible for the drafting of the designs.
