Large Area Lighting
Since we launched our "ewoReflect" mirror-projector technology in 2000, much of our work has been concentrated on high mast systems for lighting large areas. We have gained a great deal of valuable experience in this field, experience that is of extreme importance to us now, as the transition to LED technology is sweeping the industry.
As with ewoReflect, the key challenges facing LED technology consist in guiding the light precisely and managing temperature reliably.
The better the quality of the components that are used to carry out these tasks (mirror panels, lens optics, cooling elements), the more pronounced the advantages of LED technology become (long service life, low energy consumption). We have developed an LED lighting unit especially for large area illumination that achieves the same impressive light characteristics as ewoReflect but consumes up to 70% less energy.
