New Managing Director for ewo Germany
Alexander Hartlieb has been managing the business of ewo Germany since January 2024. He has been working in the lighting sector for over 15 years and was most recently responsible for the management of a medium-sized outdoor lighting manufacturer from Germany.
"Alexander has shown great motivation right from the start to further develop and expand ewo Germany. It was clear from our discussions that we see the lighting market with similar eyes—a prerequisite that is particularly important to me. We are now looking forward to embarking on this path together with him," says Hannes Wohlgemuth, CEO of ewo.
Alexander Hartlieb’s vision for ewo is to consolidate the company’s presence on the German market: "ewo’s portfolio contains top products from which the urban lighting and large area lighting markets in particular could benefit even more. My task is to fully exploit ewo’s potential here in Germany, thereby enabling the company to grow and further strengthen its position on the German market."
In Germany, ewo has carried out lighting projects for the St. Martin Tower in Frankfurt, the city of Kassel, the award-winning BUGA fibre pavilion in Heilbronn and Bielefeld’s Jahnplatz, among others. ewo Germany is also responsible for the lighting systems at a large number of airports such as Munich, Stuttgart and Hanover.
